A festive Christmas for all! – Charlotte Clewlow

Bertie (who is for sale) has had a couple of outing to Arena Eventing at Kelsall Hill,  where in the BE100 he produced a lovely double clear for 7th place.  We also went to the Folly Farm Christmas Dressage where he did a lovely test to score 71.8% , winning his class.

Over Christmas Bertie went home to Kelsall Hill giving me the opportunity to school him around the Novice BE fences in the arena, he was brilliant and I wish I was going to be eventing him this year.

Boy also went to the Arena Eventing and produced a lovely round, rolling just one pole. At the Christmas Dressage, his first dressage outing with me he produced a lovely test for 66.4% to come 2nd to Bertie, clever boy!!

Joey also went Arena Eventing for a double clear and 3rd place in the BE100, I just love this boy!

We then had a a fun outing to Somerford Park Farm round their XC arena on Christmas Eve; he was fantastic and schooled over all the novice/intermediate fences, he thought the water was great fun to play in too! Bring on the eventing season I think Joey is ready!

Basil has been British Showjumping a couple of times with Lyndsay and is jumping really well. He also went for a play on Christmas Eve to Somerford’s Arena XC where he and Lyndsay jumped much more than they expected,  he also had a good show jump schooling session at Kelsall Hill.

Paddy has been coming back into work after his holiday, he is feeling and looking good, he will be back out competing in the New Year.

Katie a 4 years old, 16hh Mare is a new arrival, she is a British bred sports horse by Spring’s Spirit, with a super temperament. I am looking forward to sharing her progress.
